Entertaing

So another obsession of mine is football and small house parties.  I love making lots of appetizers, some new and some old, and sharing some good times with family and friends!   I mean what better way to fuel my addiction then inviting people over to try new recipes?

On this page I am going to slowly add my creations and hopefully one day have more on here then my pinterest board ;)  ENJOY!

Sausage and onion cheesy garlic bread

What football party is complete without bread, meat and cheese?  The spice from the sausage and the melted cheese on garlic toast, is pure heaven!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lbs. sausage roll
  • 1 -1/2 cup of shredded italian cheese
  • 1 small yellow onion
  • 1 frozen garlic bread loaf
Steps to pure joy:

1)  Heat the oven to 450 degrees.

2) Let the garlic bread thaw out at room temperature, in the mean time, cook the sausage on medium heat.  While cooking on the stove top, break it up into small chunks, but make sure not to make it too small. After about 10 minutes, add your chopped up onion.  Let all cook together until your sausage is cooked.  When done cooking, place into a colander in the sink to drain some of the oil from the sausage.

3) Next, place your garlic loafs onto a cookie sheet that is lined with tin foil and sprayed with cooking spray.

4) Top the garlic toast with the sausage mixture and top with the cheese.

5) Cook in the oven for about 10 minutes.  Then slice and serve!
